Shrunk

Natural shrunken surface.
The structure of this lively and extra rustic oak collection is based on a naturally deformed and subtly brushed surface. Contrary to regular engineered flooring, lumber with a relative high humidity level is cut to wearlayers, and then let to dry. This results in natural ‘shrunken’ surface undulations around the characteristic cracks, end-cracks and knots. Subsequently a selection of the knots and cracks are hand-scraped and partially filled to enhance the aged character of the floor. Only here and there some band sawn cross marks may be present.

Antique Living

Powerful aged character with a wire-brushed surface texture. This extra rustic oak collection is characterized by hand-scraped boards in which the characteristic and natural open cracks and knots are manually accentuated. The unfilled open knots and cracks, with darkened background, form the basis for this collection. A unique look and powerful character for establishing a classic aged wooden floor.

Smooth

Planed look. A collection of extra fine sanded and slightly polish-brushed oak floors, also referred to as ‘planed look’. This surface treatment has been specially introduced to create elegant wooden floors. The smooth surface creates a calm, soft and somewhat modern appearance.

Living

Lively textured and durable surface. All products within this oak collection have a brushed surface structure, with light, medium and heavier brushing variants. Brushing removes the softer wood in the surface. This creates a lively textured and durable surface. In combination with color finishes, a lively floor will result, as the color pigments in the deeper structure are emphasized.
