Traditional

Natural and vivid appearance.
This oak collection is based on the authentic standard surface of Heywood’s flooring. This means that all floors within the Traditional collection are regular flat sanded. Due to the alternation of areas with a harder and softer surface structure, in which the finishing oil is absorbed differently, a natural and vivid appearance is created.

Robust

The natural rough expression of wood.
Typical for this collection is the raw and robust appearance. An extremely expressive oak floor, in which the structure of wood is optimally expressed. Knotting Hill

Natural deformed and sawn surface.

This results in natural ‘shrunken’ surface undulations around the characteristic cracks, end-cracks and knots. The cross marks from bandsawing the wearlayers is maintained and forms an import feature of Knotting Hill flooring. Subsequently a selection of the knots and cracks are hand-scraped and partially filled to enhance the aged character of the floor.
